Katy ISD HS #10 & JHS #18

Working with LEAF Engineers on the design side and Traylor Mechanical on the build side, S&S was able to provide the basis of design Marley NC Crossflow Cooling Tower at Katy ISD’s tenth high school campus.  This 4-cell tower is equipped with custom platforms at both the fan deck and cold-water basin to allow for exceptionally easy access across the full length of the tower.  S&S also provided seven high efficiency Patterson Kelley boilers for the campus.  Five of these boilers make up the high school central plant, while the other two boilers serve the natatorium for both pool and comfort heating applications.

S&S also provided three high efficiency Patterson Kelley boilers for junior high number eighteen’s heating plant.  The junior high sits adjacent to the high school and shares a central cooling plant.
