Post HTX

When the old Houston Downtown Post Office was repurposed into a new entertainment complex, S&S was brought in by DBR Engineer Consultants to provide new 3-cell modular Marley MD Counterflow Tower.  Space constraints were a concern with this project since the rooftop of the building doubles as event space and a green roof urban farm, providing produce for many of the restaurants located in the food hall within the building.  Gregory Edwards Mechanical provided the mechanical installation of the job.  Harvey Builders was the General Contractor and Powers Brown was the architect on record.  The Post received a HBJ Landmark Award for Historic Rehabilitation in 2022.
